Khardung La, the highest motorable pass in Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, India – photo gallery

Khardung La is one of the highest motorable passes in the world joining Indus Valley (Leh) and Nubra Valley and Shoyok Valley. Built in 1976 by Indian Army and Border Road Organization. Local signs states that this is the highest motorable pass in the World but there are some higher ones located in Tibet.
